Pregabalin is a medication used to treat epilepsy, neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and generalised anxiety disorder. Potentially serious side effects include angioedema, drug misuse, and increased suicide risk. It is eliminated from circulation by renal excretion as unchanged drug, and can be detected from urine up to 3-5 days after single use.
